Annie & Steve Zolman

Meet the Founders

In 2014, our baby Adam was diagnosed with CDH. Our initial conversations with doctors gave us very little hope. However, thanks to excellent care, Adam is now a happy healthy boy! We founded Tiny Hero to empower families by providing crucial information and hope.

Barb Lamb

Executive Director

Barb Lamb has been with Tiny Hero since 2018 and has recently taken on the role as Executive Director. Working with the Tiny Hero staff and families has been rewarding in many ways and she has been thrilled to help Tiny Hero grow and develop into a charity that is making a significant impact in the CDH world. Before working with Tiny Hero, Barb previously operated her own event management company until deciding she wanted to dedicate her time more fully to her quickly growing children. Between the years of 2002 and 2018 Barb contracted independently on a short term basis, helping individuals and companies with various aspects of management, fundraising & events.

Barb and her husband, David, live in Highland UT and are the parents of 4 fun children and 2 just as fun, sons-in-law. Barb enjoys anything involving family, friends, outdoors, running, skiing and just about any physical exercise. She likes to DIY a lot of projects to let out her creative side and look at "her" beautiful mountains out her backdoor.

Elizabeth Cummins

Community Outreach

Elizabeth Cummins has been with Tiny Hero since the beginning of 2022 as our Community Manager. Her husband, Micah, is in the Air Force, and the family has moved frequently throughout his career. Elizabeth is a stay-at-home mom and a supportive military wife. Their first child, Liam, was born in 2015 in Denton, Texas. Shortly after, the family moved to England, where they traveled as much as possible. They love hiking, visiting castles, and finding new adventures! When Micah’s tour was over in 2020, they moved back to Texas, which is where they learned they would have another boy, Landon. However, their new baby would soon be diagnosed with CDH. With the help of Tiny Hero, they found hope and survival. Now, Landon is home, they are living in San Antonio until they have to move again, and Elizabeth is very excited to work for the charity that helped them so much.

Leah Antonoff Coonley

Marketing, Social Media

Leah Antonoff Coonley has been with Tiny Hero since 2021 as the Marketing Director. Leah studied International Business Communication at Indiana University and has a background working in both the public and private sectors at various levels of marketing. Leah began consulting on the side in 2010 but decided to pursue consulting full-time in 2017 after leaving a marketing role for a Fortune 1000 company. Marketing is Leah's way of not only helping an individual but an entire company or nonprofit ensure all their employees and clients become successful.

In 2019, Leah was thrown into the CDH world when her first child was diagnosed. Ryder Jackson Coonley was born and treated at Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida. Leah and her husband, Aaron, have a second child named Kaiden, who was born in March 2022 without any complications. They live in the Atlanta area with Ryder, Kaiden and their dog, Libi. They enjoy traveling (pre-COVID), taking Ryder to the park and on walks, and just relaxing as a family.
